With the summer heat blazing up, we all need a staycation where we can just relax and chill. No matter where you live, you can have a staycation that’s just as good as a vacation away from home. You just need to have an open mind and do a little planning. And the best choice of choosing the right staycation is a property which has all that what you are looking for. Something that’s perfect and doesn’t require a long drive.

We, Mumbaikars are always on the lookout of some new hotel properties and resorts and the done-to-death options available are in Lonavala. Somehow, enjoying a weekend resort at a private bungalow has never really appealed us so much. Primarily since there is always concerns on just the food options but also whether the service will be up to the mark.

Finally, we zeroed our search down to THE PARK HOTEL in Navi Mumbai which is just a one-hour drive. THE PARK group of hotels have always been synonymous with superfluous service and some amazing fine-dining restaurants. Our experience for a weekend-stay surely ended up us feeling rushed and overwhelmed.

Our first impressions escalated our vision once we reached the hotel property – the strong, positive aura that emancipates the entrance is truly enthralling. The cool vibes lend that perfect magic for an amazing beginning. We had compared the price points for the rooms with the competitive hotel properties and we were amazed at the affordable rates. More so, this property also housed a swimming pool, gymnasium and a spa. Not to mention the restaurants and the amazing menu they serve.

The hotel interiors:

What we loved most was the pure luxury feeling effectively blended into the hotel design. The entire ambience has unique artefacts strategically place which lend a unique and vibrant living environment.

The entertainment quotient:

While most hotel properties focus on your stay and food, The Park Hotel in Navi Mumbai has curated after-hours entertainment options which blend and complement perfectly with most Mumbaikars who would love to party too or have some scintillating cocktails.

The Park Hotel, Navi Mumbai has Aqua - the al fresco pool-side restaurant which focusses on Mediterranean cuisine and barbecues. Their West 1 - a contemporary all-hours dining restaurant and Dusk - the classy nightclub for those wanting to party into the wee hours. We were party to tasting some excellent cocktails which were perfectly curated by the bartender.

The Stay and food:

While there are various categories of rooms available, we chose the Premium room which resonated a plush environment. A spacious room which was well-equipped with all the necessities and a brilliant view of the highway made our stay a soothing one.

On the food front, we chose to opt for the A La Carte menu and were thoroughly impressed. The Chef team ensured to curate some amazing delicacies for us which left endearing memoires.

The service:

As mentioned earlier, the service is superfluous. Right from the check-in to the time we finished our staycation, there never was a cause of concern. The well-trained and knowledgeable staff was always eager to assist and impress.

Closing notes:

THE PARK HOTEL, Navi Mumbai surely deserves a 5 Star Rating, for skilfully managing every guest – and we say that since the property had an elaborate destination wedding at the venue plus some corporate conference too. There was never a moment where we found any dips in the service, the food flavours or the feel-good euphoria from the team.

We appreciate the strong ideologies, service quality consciousness and lip-smacking delights of THE PARK HOTEL group which ensures that every guest has a smile on their face not just when they enter but also when they leave.

Kudos to the team for making our stay a memorable one. The warm memories which we take back for a weekend staycation will surely culminate into a longer stay in the near future.
