There are restaurants which have sustained the competition and managed to be the on the top favourite go-to places not just for partying but also for having a good meal. It’s the mass appeal and value for money pricing which retains the customer base. We chose to drive all the way to Belapur since our favourite resto-bar had launched their outlet there. Read on to find out more.
WHAT’S HOT IN MUMBAI strongly
recommends a visit to HITCHKI, which has been recently launched in Belapur.
This restaurant chain has always wooed us with their exceptional
service, scrumptious food, compelling music, reasonable pricing and amiable
hospitality. Be it their BKC branch or the Thane one, Hitchki has been our
favourite not just for meetings but also birthday bashes.
The Belapur outlet is a replica of the traditional
branding set-up with the restaurant chain. Yes, it is surely sprawling for the party
lovers of Belapur and Vashi. We tried some of the untouched dishes from their
menu and were surely impressed. Consistency in taste is something which holds
your diners to you, and we are one of their regulars.

Here's what we tried this time:
Starters:
Baap ka dada bhai ka sab ka – This is a platter set including Spring roll, paneer
tikka, pani puri pakoda, tandoori aloo. A hearty combo which has something for
everyone. On the flavour front, it was a perfect 10. A total value-for-money
deal for a gang of friends who are dining out.
Seekh ka baap – This is a must-order dish for all meat kebab lovers. The Foot long, mince mutton seekh with mint chutney is an absolute delight.
Tiger jinga hai – Another munchie dish which can be perfectly paired
with the cocktails. Loved it.
Desserts:
Moong bharo sajna – Another crazy, creative combination of Moong dal halwa
cigars with a shahi tukda twist. You will love the rabdi glaze and the drama
they have incorporated with the dessert.
Banoffee bomb – This wasn’t featured in the menu but we were
fortunate to try it. A perfect treat for the kids. The dessert is shaped as an
angry bird and has a banoffee creation of ice cream, some fruit bites and more.
Not to be missed.
Cocktails:
Dum maro dum – You almost get the sheesha-like feeling while
sipping on this. The comibination of Vodka, cranberry and pineapple juice gives
a delightful feel with the flavoured smoke concoction.
Daaru desi – Another breakthrough on the flavours. The Whisky base perfectly blends with the apricot nectar, the bitters and cold smoke add the sizzle. Loved this one too!
At Belapur, Hitchki will be bringing in an
extensive nostalgia-inspired menu with a filmy twist, lip-smacking desserts and
fascinating ambiance, the new outlet is sure to transcend patrons to the good
old days. You could also try ‘Geeta
Babita’ or ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’,
Hitchki’s ‘Swadeeka’ drinks.
The service is impeccable, the staff is well
trained in the exhaustive menu. You get your food and drinks on time. That’s
what we always loved about Hitchki and we are super-glad that they have continued
to enthral us with their magic.
More power to you guys!
