Don't miss the Dawat- e -Kashmir at The Orchid Hotel

Our all-time favorite, The Orchid Hotel has always organized some amazing, whirlwind culinary journeys for #mumbaifoodies. This time they are hosting Dawat - e - Kashmir, a sizzling Kashmiri food festival hosted by none other than the Culinary expert Aparmita Sapru.

Known for her passion and precision, Aparmita brings the authentic taste of Kashmir to Mumbai, making Dawat - e - Kashmir an unmissable event for foodies and culture enthusiasts alike.

WHAT'S HOT IN MUMBAI VERDICT: We loved the dynamism of infused, rustic and authentic flavours to the culinary delights curated by Chef Sapru. This festival is a diverse variant to all those Kashmir food festivals we have visited. The food flavours are homely, not exasperatingly heavy yet leave endearing memories for us. Great job, excellent curation and strongly recommended from our side.

The menu is a daily change and what we savored may not be on the buffet counters for the next two days. The Shami kebabs were succulent and perfect, the chicken rizala stole our hearts with the haleem touch and crunchy lotus stem chips. The Nadru kebab, our all-time favorite, was divine. The Chicken Yakhni Pulao will make your heart sing, with meat cooked in its own juices and a medley of spices. The mutton rogan gosh, the methi chicken gravies are drool and you will love indulging in a non-stop sip-a-thon. The vegetarians are also covered adequately on the main course. Kashmiri desserts like Kheer and seviyaan can be closed with a hot, piping cup of the famous Kahwa.

Each dish is relish-worthy and has the strongly etched out signatures of Chef Sapru and the revitalizing service culture of THE ORCHID HOTEL, Mumbai.

Rating – 10 Stars all the way!
